In a thread of good news, Israel announced that it will allow tourist groups from certain countries to enter the country after September 19th. These groups will not be required to quarantine, but will need to present proof of vaccination. Upon landing, they will also need to take a serological test to provide proof of antibodies in their systems. This is great news for the flailing tourism industry, which has not had tour groups in over a year and a half. Many people in the industry are either unemployed or have had to seek employment elsewhere. Please pray that this development will bring much-needed relief to the many individuals and families who rely on tourism for their living. Please also pray that the tourism industry will experience a quick revival and return to its pre-pandemic levels soon. Lastly, please pray for protection from other virus variants from entering the country as a result of tourists being allowed entrance.
