Israel Edges Toward Elections

Israel may be headed for its fourth elections in two years. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s main governing partner, Benny Gantz, backed an opposition move to dissolve parliament. This comes after the two reportedly failed to resolve differences on the national budget. Fourth elections will not only cost Israel millions of shekels, but it will also further plunge the country into more uncertainty. Please continue to pray for wisdom for Israel’s leadership, and for the citizens of Israel to find their hope in the LORD regardless of the failures of man. Please also pray that differences will be resolved in the Knesset and that fourth elections would be avoided if possible.
