Israel Approves New Financial Aid for Small Businesses

After intense criticism for the government’s lack of aid to small business owners and self-employed Israelis, the Knesset finally responded. The Finance Ministry reported that grants of up to NIS 7,500 ($2,250) will be transferred to self-employed workers and business owners whose revenue declined due to the pandemic shutdown. Please pray that this much-needed aid reaches those truly in need, and for a quick recovery of Israel’s economy.
