Iranian Brig.-General Shekarchi said in a state-sponsored TV interview “[Iran] will not back off from annihilation of Israel, even one millimeter.” This comes just days before talks are set to resume in Vienna regarding curbing the Islamic Republic of Iran’s illicit nuclear program. Israel is very skeptical that any real progress can be made to slow Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Israel is preparing for a military confrontation with Iran as a worst-case scenario. Please pray for wisdom for Israeli officials in this pressing situation. Please also pray that other countries will wake up to the real threat that Iran poses, not just to the Middle East, but the entire world. Lastly, please pray that the Iranian people will one day be freed from their oppressive regime, and begin to rebuild their lives.
