The IDF struck specific targets in Gaza after incendiary devices ignited over 20 fires in southern Israel. Hamas claimed responsibility for the devices, claiming they were in response to the Flag March that took place Tuesday evening in Jerusalem. Palestinian media published photos of militants preparing and releasing explosive devices earlier in the day. Israel’s new Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, promised that Israel would treat incendiary devices like rockets, and would warrant the same response from Israel.
