FIGHTING FOR OUR HOMELAND – DAY 18

Following US and Qatari mediation, Hamas released two more Israeli hostages on Monday evening, both elderly women. The women, one of whom is 85 and the other is 79, were kidnapped two weeks ago from their homes in southern Israel. One spoke to the press from the hospital, providing the following details about her personal experience in captivity, which she described as “hell”.

French Prime Minister Macron landed in Israel on Tuesday. He expressed his support for Israel’s elimination of Hamas, provided that the conflict does not spread. The leaders of Russia and Iran, who have both openly condemned Israel for defending itself, also met today to discuss the conflict.

In the last 24 hours, the IDF has struck 400 terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip and eliminated a number of Hamas commanders. Meanwhile, more trucks carrying humanitarian aid have crossed into the Gaza Strip from Egypt after being checked by Israeli officials for weapons. In Judea and Samaria, security forces have arrested around 800 wanted terrorists since October 7th.

On the home front, 125,000 Israelis are now displaced. Many of them lost family and friends in Hamas’ initial terror attack and the ensuing war and have no idea when they will be able to return home.

Internationally, the number of voices raised against Israel is growing. Numerous celebrities and lawmakers, many of whom initially expressed unequivocal support for Israel and condemnation of Hamas, are walking back their earlier statements.

Please continue to pray for protection over Israel, especially for the over 200 Israelis still held hostage and those who are displaced. Please pray for wisdom for Israel’s leaders. Lastly, please pray for people to awaken to the truth about Israel and for continued international support.
