Shalom and blessings from Jerusalem!
The Jewish New Year, or Feast of Trumpets, is one of the most special times in the Jewish year. Rosh HaShana is traditionally a time spent with family around a festive and elaborate meal, including foods such as fish, pomegranates, and apples with honey. Food greatly contributes to the special atmosphere of Rosh HaShana!
For Israeli families who struggle to make ends meet, this can be challenging. For this reason, Rosh HaShana is one of two holidays a year when Hope for Israel invites you to partner with us in investing in families in need through Operation Hesed!
This year, Rosh HaShana falls on September 16-17th, meaning that Jewish families around the world, including in Israel, will begin celebrations the night of the 15th of September. Hope for Israel will sponsor hundreds of families including: single-parent families; families with more than four children; believing soldiers, including 5 lone soldiers (who have no family in Israel) and more!
We invite you to partner with us through Operation Hesed to make a difference in the lives of these Israelis and give them the opportunity to celebrate the Feast of Trumpets with abundance!
- Bless a lone soldier ($50)
- Help feed a family of 4 ($75)
- Help feed a single-parent family ($100)
- Help feed a larger family of 5 or more ($150)
- Custom donation amount
Thank you for your faithful prayers and partnership as we extend God’s love to the people of Israel. Together, we can bless all of Israel and make a real difference!
Chag Rosh HaShana Sameach! (Happy Feast of Trumpets!)
