A nighttime curfew has gone into effect in 40 cities throughout Israel. These communities have a high infection rate of the Coronavirus, as well as high morbidity. The areas hardest hit by the virus include many Arab sector communities, and neighborhoods with a predominately ultra-Orthodox population. The curfew is between 7pm and 5am, and is aimed at reducing the spread of the virus in these communities. While businesses are open during the day, schools in these areas will be closed for the time being. Please continue to pray for Israel and the high infection rate, which has jumped to an astonishing 12%. Please pray for wisdom for Israel’s government, health officials, and for civilians to heed government restrictions.
