Draft to Set PM Term Limits Passes

Israeli Ministers unanimously approved the draft of a bill to limit the term for a Prime Minister to 8 years. The Ministerial Committee for Legislation voted in favor of the bill despite many saying it appears to personally target former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The bill must now pass three Knesset plenum readings in order to become law. It will not be retroactive, meaning that former PM Netanyahu could run for office again. Please pray for wisdom for Israeli officials as they consider passing this bill into law. Please also pray that bills such as these will uphold the democratic ideals of the State of Israel.
