Israeli carriers launched direct flights to Morocco! In light of normalized ties between the two countries, El Al and IsrAir began direct flights to Marrakesh this week. This is a welcomed development, especially as a large part of Israel’s Jewish population is comprised of Moroccan Jews. While travel to Morocco was not forbidden for Israelis before normalization, Israeli carriers did not fly to the country. Israel and Morocco normalized ties last December as part of the historic Abraham Accords, which then-U.S. President Trump marks as one of his best foreign relations achievements. Please pray that more Muslim countries will follow suit and normalize ties with Israel! Please also pray for a tangible blessing on Morocco and all countries that have sought peace with Israel. Lastly, please pray that these new flight routes will open up great opportunities for both Israelis and Moroccans!
