In a settlement called Beit El, an area in North Samaria near Ramallah, police are evacuating settlers who are protesting to build new homes. Early this morning the police detained at least 50 settlers who were squatting overnight in a building that is meant for demolition. This building is called the Dreinof structure and the Israeli Supreme Court has ruled that it is illegally under construction and must be destroyed. The court ruled in June that 24 of these illegal structures must be destroyed. However, since this ruling the Civil Administration of Judea and Samaria gave authorization to continue. Now hundreds of protesters and right-wing politicians are in an uproar over this issue. Please cover this entire issue in your prayers.
