Canada’s Green Party officially endorsed BDS as one of the party’s platforms.  While this measure was quite controversial within the party, and Canada’s parliament passed a measure outlawing an official adoption of BDS, the measure nonetheless received enough votes to be part of the Green Party’s official policy.  Elizabeth May, the party’s leader, has condemned the vote saying that it is destructive, divisive, and would prefer to support “action that can work.”  Please pray that as we see more and more of these measures being passed in governments throughout the world, that Israel will seek her strength in the Lord.  Please also pray that organizations that support counter-BDS movements will be encouraged in their work, to be a voice for Israel and the truth.  Lastly, please pray that Canada’s government will continue to be strong in supporting Israel’s right to exist, regardless of the platforms its lower parties adopt.
