An Israeli Biotech company reports promising results in a clinical trial for a drug against COVID-19. Bonus BioGroup reported a 100% success rate in 10 patients in serious condition, who were given the medication in a clinical trial. “MesenCure”, which consists of activated Mesenchymal Stromal Cells (MSCs) isolated from the adipose tissue of healthy donors, was found to reduce inflammation and alleviate respiratory and other symptoms in patients suffering from life-threatening distress brought on by COVID-19. Ninety percent of the patients treated also had underlying health conditions, which has made people particularly vulnerable to COVID-19 morbidity.
