Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced his resignation from politics. Foreign Minister Yair Lapid will serve as PM until elections are held on November 1st. Bennett will not partake in those elections. In his televised announcement on Wednesday night, he said, “In one short year we were able to do more than other governments did in a longer term…We’ve shown people can work together even when they are ideologically apart. We’ve proven there is a value to agreements and we can work together…” Please pray for Israel in these turbulent times. Please pray that Israel’s next prime minister will seek God first and secone, the good of all the country. Please pray that Israelis will not put their hopes in men, but in the Almighty.
