Back-to-School for Israeli Children

Children from preschool to 12th grade returned to the classroom on September 1st. While there was some hesitation about returning to frontal studies because of the 4th wave of the Coronavirus, Israeli officials decided to move forward with the plan. Stricter guidelines are in place this year in order to prevent infection as much as possible. All children were required to submit a negative corona test on the first day of school in order to mitigate possible infection. In areas with high infection rates, schools where less than 70% of students are vaccinated are required to conduct distance learning. Around 10% of Israeli students attended school online on the first day. Please pray for a healthy and fruitful academic year for all students in Israel. Please also pray for wisdom for Israel’s Education officials as they navigate these tough times.
