For the first time since November, Israel reports a virus reproduction rate under 1. This is a sure sign that the 5th wave of COVID is receding. At the peak of the current wave, over 65,000 new cases were reported in a day. The Health Ministry reports that 1,069 coronavirus patients are in severe condition. At least 80% of severely ill are aged 60 and over, 14% aged 40 to 59, 4% aged 19 to 39 and 2% are under the age of 19. Please continue to pray for a full recovery for those who are infected. Please also pray that the current wave of infections will continue to recede. Lastly, please pray that Israel will be able to find viable solutions for living with COVID, while continuing to find reliable treatments for infections.
