I want to personally thank you for standing with the people of Israel through Hope for Israel during one of the most painful and trying times in our nation’s history. Your support has brought real hope, healing, and encouragement to those who needed it most. I want you to know what a difference you made.
This past month, we concluded a project that has been especially close to my heart.
Since November 2023, we’ve been delivering hot, fresh meals five days a week to wounded soldiers and their families. While hospitals provided food for the soldiers themselves, their families—many of whom stayed day and night by their side—received no such provision. For families already under emotional and financial strain, it was one more burden to carry.
Because of your generosity, Hope for Israel was able to step in.
We partnered with local restaurants to bring nutritious, comforting meals directly to these families. In doing so, we also supported small businesses struggling to stay afloat during wartime. It was a full-circle blessing.
One message from a family says it all:
“To the Angel Volunteer: Thank you for the generous, hot, and delicious lunches, always given with a smile and a hug. The meals brought us comfort, put a smile on our faces, and satisfied our hunger. After physiotherapy, there was always excitement and anticipation for the treats, especially the burgers. Every day, your presence and surprises lifted our spirits. Thank you, so, so much for who you are. You're one of a kind.”
This is the impact you had. You brought joy and relief to hospital rooms full of pain. You reminded wounded soldiers that they are not alone.
Even the hospital staff told us how much your continued support meant to them, especially as other volunteer efforts began to fade. Your faithfulness stood out.
Now that the project has come to an end, I want you to hear this from me personally: thank you. Thank you for standing with the people of Israel through Hope for Israel. You gave more than food. You gave hope, dignity, and light during a very dark time.
We continue to pray for peace and healing in our land. Until then, we will keep doing all we can to care for those in need, together with you.
With deep gratitude,
