Thank You Letter – December 2025

Dear Friends,

Thank you. Truly.

Because of your generosity, compassion, and willingness to stand with Israel in one of its most painful chapters, Stage One of “Operation Doors of Hope” is now complete. One hundred and nineteen reinforced safe-room doors have been installed, providing real protection to families whose sense of security was shattered on October 7.

That day changed everything.

Families who once believed their homes were a refuge were forced to confront a terrifying truth. Parents hid with their children in safe rooms that were never designed for the brutality they faced. Doors parents held shut with their own hands failed. They could not stop bullets. They could not keep out smoke. They could not protect families from terror entering their homes.

This reality broke our hearts and demanded a response.

Because of you, that response became action.

These new doors are not symbolic. They are reinforced, bulletproof, fire-resistant, smoke-sealed, and lock securely from the inside. They represent real protection for real families. They restore dignity where it was stripped away and offer confidence where fear once ruled.

During a recent visit to inspect the installations, one resident shared words that touched us deeply:

“After the helplessness and fear we experienced while confined for long hours, knowing these doors now protect us from gunfire and forced entry brings a profound sense of security—something that was painfully absent that day.”

Your support is not abstract. It is felt in every bolt tightened, every door installed, and every family that can finally breathe a little easier. Families are choosing to return home not because the threat has disappeared, but because this time they are not facing it alone.

And now, because of the successful completion of Stage One, we are beginning Stage Two. Thanks to the foundation you helped build, Hope for Israel is moving forward with the next phase of this life-saving project, which will provide an additional 134 reinforced doors to families who remain most vulnerable. Restoration is not a moment. It is a process. And you are part of it.

On behalf of the families whose lives are safer today, thank you for refusing to look away. Thank you for turning heartbreak into protection and compassion into action. You are helping restore safety, dignity, and hope, one home at a time.
