Three Israelis were injured, one seriously, after an explosion shook the site of an abandoned military factory Monday evening. The explosion is the fourth incident at the site in recent months, and locals claim that cleanup for the old factory, which used to produce explosives, was not thorough enough. As the recent incidents show, the area, currently open to the public, presents a real danger in its current state.

Despite the area’s history, experts did not find any suspicious materials at the site of the explosion. Officials say that the incident is under investigation.
