Sudan has signed the Abraham Accords with the U.S., paving the way for the African country to normalize ties with Israel. Sudanese officials confirmed that Justice Minister Nasredeen Abdulbari signed the accord Wednesday while visiting U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. This is quite a victory in both the political and economic arenas, for Sudan and Israel have never had official diplomatic ties. Please pray that more predominantly Muslim countries will see the benefit of normalizing ties with Israel. Please also pray for wisdom for Israel’s leaders as a new era is emerging in the Middle East.
