For the first time since Israel’s war with Hamas in May, Hamas fired a rocket into southern Israel. The Iron Dome intercepted the rocket and no physical injuries or damages were reported. Hamas claims they fired the rocket in response to Israel not upholding deals that were made at the end of the hostilities in May. The rocket attack came less than 24 hours after Gaza’s terror groups issued an ultimatum demanding that Israel open the border crossings and transfer all the Qatari funds by Monday night. Additionally, Islamic Jihad warned of retaliation for four Palestinians that were killed after clashing with IDF troops in Jenin. Please pray for protection from renewed fighting with Hamas or any other Palestinian terror group. Please also pray that the LORD will frustrate the plans of Israel’s enemies and be a shield over Israel and her people. Lastly, please pray for calm to be restored quickly.
