Many Jews are returning to Israel each year from the ends of the earth. For those Jews living in Israel who were not born there, especially those who are older and no longer eligible to serve in the military, it can be especially hard to integrate into Israeli society. Sometimes, it can feel as though this difficulty integrating is a matter of racism and sometimes that may be the case. Pray for all the Jews in the world who make the bold step to return to the Land. Pray for strength and discernment to understand both how to integrate into Israeli society and how to recognize the difference between racism and the many other things that can make integration challenging. Pray also for those in Israel, such as the Bedouin and the Druze who are continually straddling between their separate and unique ways of life on the one hand and participation in Israeli society on the other.
