Following the assassination of Hassan Mehdawi, a senior commander of the Quds Force in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Iranian threat has put the State of Israel on high alert. There are concerns about significant Iranian action in the immediate future, either in Israel or abroad, which requires preparation and, above all, readiness. The highest alert has been declared in all Israeli missions worldwide, which were already on high alert, and at the same time, the IDF spokesperson announced last night that it was decided to reinforce and recruit reserve personnel for the air defense system.

In addition, the State of Israel is preparing for possible war with the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant convened an exercise to examine the readiness of the civilian home front in the Haifa district for war scenarios. As part of the exercise, the connection between the local government, government ministries, and security and rescue bodies was tested.
