Nearly 1 million children in Israel currently live in poverty. A number of children also suffer sexual assault. Poverty is also a major factor in violence against children in Israel. Israel is prospering in many ways, even having a thriving economy. Pray that Israel’s thriving economy will translate into addressing poverty in this country, especially that of needy families.
