Protests in Support of Hamas Gunman

Hundreds of Palestinians marched through the Shuafat refugee camp in East Jerusalem in support of a Hamas gunman who shot and killed one Israeli and wounded four others in Jerusalem. The terrorist is lauded as a hero by many who claim he was simply resisting the Israeli “occupation”. The marchers threw rocks at Border Police forces that arrived at the scene while chanting “the martyrs are going to Jerusalem in the millions”. Residents also called for a general strike in the neighborhood on Monday. Please continue to pray for Israel in these trying times. Please pray that the Israeli government will not turn a blind eye to known affiliates of Palestinian terror groups, especially as some of them live in Israel-proper. Lastly, please pray for comfort for the family of Eliyahu Kay, 24, who was killed by the Hamas terrorist in yesterday’s shooting attack.
