This week, for the first time in Israeli history, a coalition was not formed in the amount of time permitted by law and so the Knesset (Israeli parliament), by a majority vote, decided to hold elections a second time this upcoming September. Please pray for the political climate in Israel as we move towards these “do-over” elections in September rather than allow the president of Israel to appoint another leader in the Knesset (most likely Benny Gantz of the Blue-White party) to form a coalition. Pray also for continued favor with the US and in building relations with surrounding Arab nations despite this setback.
