A recent move to reduce pay among law enforcement officials has met opposition from Israel’s Minister of Security, Gilad Erdan, who reasons that lower pay for police at a time of tension is no way to encourage effective policing in Israel. Please pray for wisdom among policy makers in Israel and for those working in Israel’s security sector to receive the pay that is most realistic and fair for the work they are doing.
