Likud appointed by President to attempt formation of coalition

In an unprecedented shift in policy, the president of Israel has appointed the party that received less votes in the elections to attempt to form a coalition due to greater support within the Knesset for the leadership of that party (the Likud). The challenge is that the Likud cannot form a coalition unless other parties backpedal on their promises to their constituents or unless Netanyahu is proved innocent of the corruption charges that he is now facing. Please pray for progress and for an end to these seemingly unending elections and coalition forming efforts.
