Israeli Linoy Ashram Wins Gold

In a proud moment for Israel, Linoy Ashram won gold in Saturday’s Rhythmic Gymnastics in Tokyo. Linoy, 22 from Rishon LeZion in central Israel, became the first Israeli woman ever to win gold at the summer Olympics. The entire country celebrated with Linoy’s win along with the entire Olympic team! Sadly, her win has been accompanied by anti-Semitic and anti-Israel attacks throughout the world. This is especially true coming out of Russia, as Linoy narrowly beat Russia’s gymnast for the same title. Please pray for protection from the rising anti-Semitism we see happening in the world. Please also pray for strength for Israelis and Jewish people everywhere, that we will find our hope in the Lord!
