This past week, Israel welcomed dozens of Ethiopian Jews who are the first of a thousand approved to immigrate to Israel this year. A total of 8,000 Ethiopian Jews have been awaiting approval to immigrate to Israel for some time. Please pray for those who immigrated this week to integrate quickly and joyfully with fellow Israelis. Please also pray for those who continue to await approval in Ethiopia that they will receive approval and soon. As the elections draw near in Israel, please pray for leaders who will be able to find effective solutions for welcoming more and more Jews from all over the world back to Israel.
