Israel is leading the fight against human trafficking, according to the US State Department’s 2019 report. For the eighth straight year, Israel is the top country fighting against human trafficking. In 2018, 59 victims of trafficking and slavery were identified in Israel, 139 criminal investigations were opened, and 22 indictments were filed in connection with trafficking offenses. Please continue to pray for modern-day slaves, most of whom are women and children, for their freedom from human trafficking, and for protection from being sold as slaves in all places throughout the world.
