EU Ruling on Marking Goods from Israeli Settlements

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) in Luxembourg is expected to rule on November 12 on whether to mark exports of goods, produced in Israeli settlements in the West Bank and the Golan Heights, to European Union countries. As we near this date, please pray with us that this ruling will not set a dangerous precedent that would further the BDS (anti-Israel) agenda. This hearing is a Supreme Court hearing in the EU on this issue after a 2015 guideline that was issued by the EU and followed by France initially before being challenged by Psagot Winery, which operates in the settlements in Israel. While most European nations have refused to follow this guideline, a ruling in favor of the guideline would further the BDS agenda.
