One of the greatest ironies in Israel today is that while Israel is a leader in medical innovations and research, Israel’s national budget allots much less to healthcare relative to other developed nations and so has deteriorating hospitals and too few doctors. With the immigration of Jewish doctors from other nations in the 90’s this issue was lessened for a time but now it is back at the top of the key issues facing Israel today. Please pray for an increase in attention to much needed improvements in medical care in Israel.
