In yesterday’s American midterm elections, one of two Muslims elected to the American House of Representatives has an especially anti-Israel agenda. One of the less desirable developments in American politics is that the Democrats are pursuing increasing favor among Muslims and with this a less favorable approach to Israel. With the success of the Republicans in the Senate, Trump’s support of Israel should continue somewhat intact in the coming years, but the pushback from the Democratic House of Representatives may prove to interfere with some of the work that has been done thus far in Trump’s administration to pursue reasonable agreements in the Middle East pursuit of peace. Please pray that moving forward, righteous policies will be formed in the American Congress and that anti-Israel agendas will have no place in American politics.
