Last night, Netanyahu was officially given 42 days by Israel’s president in which time he may seek to reach coalition deals with the other parties who have voiced a willingness to support him in the Knesset. If he fails to form a coalition within 42 days, Benny Gantz and the Blue-White party will be given a shot at forming a coalition. Avigdor Liberman and his party (Yisrael Beytenu) were the last party necessary to demonstrate support in order for the president to give Netanyahu the green light to attempt to form the next coalition. Please pray that whatever happens next will bring blessing and not a curse to Israel. Pray that those in the upcoming coalition will take godly counsel and lead this nation in a direction that honors God.
