2 Million Israeli Children Go Back to School

The new academic year has kicked off in Israel with over 2,000,000 children of all ages starting school after a teachers’ strike planned for September 1 has been averted at the last minute. There was a pay dispute between the teachers’ union and the ministry of finance, but an agreement was reached in time for the academic year to begin today. Please pray for the challenges that Israel faces in the field of education: teacher shortages, overcrowded classrooms, and a lack of special education programs. May this academic year be fruitful and successful!
